IMPORTANT: All of the programs below are remarkably customizable. Mike and his team will work with you to find a solution to achieve your goals. You choose from the options below to create an awesome program for your event employees.

The Unleash Your Groove™ Workshop

This program is designed exclusively as a TEAM BUILDING program for employees. They will learn simple music skills, rhythms, and how to work as a team. Through the use of learning INCLUSIVE phrases, such as, “I Feel Happy When I’m With Friends!”, everyone will learn to play new rhythms.

By the end of this session, employees will have bonded with each other while learning to perform a complex percussion rhythm as a group and an original percussion composition. There will be lots of laughter, fun and games while music is made with percussion instruments.

Learning Outcomes:

Through this energetic and engaging workshop, employees will learn practical tools to help empower:

• Belonging – Team members want to belong to the group. By intentionally creating a workplace culture facilitates belonging, it’s the first step to building trust in the workplace. Employees are empowered to do this through guidelines that teach them to RESPECT each other while learning to embrace DIVERSITY.
• Bonding – After employees feel a sense of belonging, they start to open to the possibility of bonding with each other. All humans have a deep desire to bond – we need to connect with others. Your employees will be empowered to do this through guidelines that teach them how to WORK TOGETHER and BE HONEST with one another.
• Believing – Finally, when a genuine bond is created with each other, employees become open to believing in themselves and something bigger. This then leads to a profound sense of CONFIDENCE, SELF ESTEEM, MOTIVATION, & HEALTHY EXPRESSION.

CAS learning and development outcomes this workshop focuses on:

• Interpersonal competence
• Humanitarianism and civic engagement
• Practical competence

• 1-3 hour interactive workshop.

When I am not traveling this quarter, the majority of my work at home is focused on my company strategy next year. I am semi-escaping that work today because I’m about to facilitate a leadership and team building workshop for the corporate strategy team at the pharmaceutical company, Merck.
